We grouped the most popular questions about drone and airship delivery and tried to explain in easy words. Feel free to reach us if you feel eager to know more or we are not concrete enough.
We are using TBS Crossfire TX with a range of ±200km + GSM control module - CS Airline 4g LTE with unlimited Satellite based connection range.
We are basing our calculations on the declared characteristics of equipment manufacturers and our own Lab tests.
In case any link issues or connection issues, by default, it returns to the starting point (or base location)
We always know Airship's location via independent satellite spot trace
tracks it’s position and altitude every 10 min.
If looses engine/motor- there are 4 independent motors with independent batteries- we are OK to loose even 3 out of 4 and still would be able to return back to base.
If looses all board systems — almost impossible worst case scenario, but incase it happens the worst which can happens it slow glides down with a speed max 1m per second (skydiver with an open parachute goes 8 meters per second ) + independent hidden satellite spot trace always allow to track it’s location and altitude.
Airship is balanced to land on footholds and able to stay safe with easy/middle wind without any cover.
Our basic operated altitude is 500m - 1 km, Airships have ADS-B installed (Automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast)
We are avoiding any flights 20km zone around airports to avoid intersections with takeoff/landing planes
Common altitude used by different Aircraft:
Nothing special, airship has vertical flight -just a flat area and a light hangar/cover in a permanent storage place.
Check our delivery process video to see details which let us avoid landing.
On the ground just pre-flight inspection needed and 1-2 times a years normal maintenance.
Check our delivery process video to see details in X-ray.
It is not and issue - we are using the most safe option- delivery goes down with a rope, after it touches earth rope is cutted on the side of Airship. Every 15-20 deliveries bobbin can be simply replaced.
Rain or snow is not an issue. We are ok to operate with out any issues with a wind speed up to 25-28 km per hour. In case of dramatically stronger wind airship can change the altitude or even landed. Airship is balanced to land on footholds and able to stay safe with up to 45-50 km per hour wind speed.
